On the Chicago Central District, we have five priorities we talk about regularly:

When Jesus taught, He didn’t just use words, he used images, he used pictures. He talked about fishing, he talked about rock, he talked about seed, he talked about treasure, he talked about nets, he talked about rivers of living water.
Following Jesus’ thinking, we use 5 images that “picture” our priorities. The Rock, The Seed, The Forest, The River and the Rain.
Every time you see a rock, we hope you’ll be reminded of disciple-making. Every time you see a seed, we hope you’ll be reminded we are to evangelize. Every time you see trees or view a forest, we hope you’ll remember we are developing leaders that are interdependent. Every time you watch it rain, we hope you’ll pray for renewal. Every time you see a river, we hope you’ll think about everyone serving/giving.
